If Clarence House had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kelvin Maurer succeeded in the game's 24th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-2. Kelvin Maurer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Douglas Graham read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. Horace Robison took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 29th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Douglas Graham. Snag's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Benedict Allain received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Douglas Graham tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Kelvin Maurer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chatfield FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Kelvin Maurer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Douglas Graham breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Snag's Douglas Graham played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kelvin Maurer in the 44th minute of play. Kelvin Maurer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Clarence House was the one to do the kick off. Rueben Charpie kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. When Byron Ham came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Snag fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Byron Ham couldn't finish the play. Benedict Allain sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nicodème Denton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The Chatfield FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
