The tension between the Chatfield FC and the Napadogan AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Barton Winter prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Napadogan AFC booed when Chatfield FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicodème Denton didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roger Tuttle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Barton Winter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ronny Trent got free with Barton Winter in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Roger Tuttle in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Barton Winter saved Chatfield FC from getting behind. Chatfield FC's Barton Winter proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Chatfield FC from getting a goal against them. When Ronny Trent fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Napadogan AFC's protests and gave Ronny Trent a yellow card for diving instead. In the 41st match minute, Napadogan AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronny Trent to maneuver through the defense. Ronny Trent succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 43rd playminute. Chatfield FC's Barton Winter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roger Tuttle in the 46th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Roger Tuttle to strike the kick off in the second half. Frank Rodriquez charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Frank Rodriquez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 58 played minutes Chatfield FC got a freekick which was hit by Frank Rodriquez. Barton Winter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronny Trent, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. 66 minutes into the match, Roger Tuttle had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Barton Winter. Chatfield FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Roger Tuttle was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Ronny Trent sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Chatfield FC getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Al Cordero hit a great ball. 85 minutes in the game, Kelvin Maurer fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Jame Cisneros having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Chatfield FC's zone, Ronny Trent stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Barton Winter came out of the goal and Ronny Trent tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ronny Trent received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Barton Winter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Napadogan AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Chatfield FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
