Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gérald Marks started the match with the kick off. Donn Courtney showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roger Tuttle, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Ronny Trent sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Napadogan AFC's Roger Tuttle in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Catalina AFC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 15th minute, Pasquale Brewer had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. When Weston Shearer fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Napadogan AFC's protests and gave Weston Shearer a yellow card for diving instead. In the 16th match minute, Napadogan AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Weston Shearer to maneuver through the defense. When Isidro Myles fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Catalina AFC's protests and gave Isidro Myles a yellow card for diving instead. Freddy McNair received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Jame Cisneros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 39th minute, Ronny Trent got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Napadogan AFC booed when Catalina AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gérald Marks didn't get a good kick on the ball. 44 minutes into the game, Roger Tuttle recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Donn Courtney. Roger Tuttle showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.
The wind increased when Roger Tuttle made the kick off in the second half. Gérald Marks kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Nolan Hétu's late challenge caught a Napadogan AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nolan Hétu helped the player get up and apologised. After 64 played minutes Catalina AFC got a freekick which was hit by Nolan Hétu. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Roger Tuttle in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Donn Courtney prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Donn Courtney made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronny Trent in the 70th minute of play. Ronny Trent received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Donn Courtney tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Catalina AFC's Monroe Manuel shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 76th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Jame Cisneros but with some difficulty. After 83 played minutes Napadogan AFC got a freekick which was hit by Ronny Trent. Roger Tuttle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Roger Tuttle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Donn Courtney tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Napadogan AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Catalina AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
