With a little luck, Ripples FC's Tommie Flynn got control of the ball when Laurent Ezell tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lionel Granger in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tracey Pritchard prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rolland Murillo hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. 20 minutes into the match, Ripples FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tad McHugh came free, but Tommie Flynn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Drinkwater FC's Laurent Ezell got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jan Mata sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Renaldo Keyes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Tommie Flynn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 39 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ripples FC! The referee gave Drinkwater FC a penalty, 40 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Gilles Daugherty, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Ripples FC's Tommie Flynn. 1-0. If Tad McHugh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lionel Granger to strike the kick off in the second half. Lionel Granger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tracey Pritchard having to interfere. Tad McHugh succeeded in the game's 55th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. In the 58th minute, Jan Mata got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With his leg Tracey Pritchard managed to avoid a goal in the 60thth minute, when Ripples FC's Lionel Granger fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Tracey Pritchard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dieudonné Ludwig in the 64th minute of play. Ripples FC's Tommie Flynn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laurent Ezell in the 68th minute of play. Tommie Flynn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. In the 88th match minute, Drinkwater FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laurent Ezell to maneuver through the defense. Tommie Flynn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Laurent Ezell in the 93rd minute of the match.
