Yong Leon succeeded in the game's 8th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. 15 minutes into the match, Spencer Gleason notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Wiseton AFC's Tommy Laframboise. Tommy Laframboise was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Pierre Bland made an important save on a dangerous shot by Denis McMahon in the 20th minute. Pierre Bland took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yong Leon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 25 played minutes Yong Leon rounded Saskatoon FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-1. 39 minutes into the game, Saskatoon FC's Spencer Gleason nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tommy Laframboise made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. After a rather tough play, Saskatoon FC's Willard Thorpe got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Spencer Gleason took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tommy Laframboise. Tommy Laframboise dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Yong Leon to strike the kick off in the second half. Yong Leon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Pierre Bland tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Denis McMahon came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Wiseton AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Denis McMahon couldn't finish the play. After 59 played minutes Saskatoon FC got a freekick which was hit by Seth Bernstein. After a rather tough play, Wiseton AFC's Clemente Stockton got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Saskatoon FC's Eldon Lemieux couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Wiseton AFC. A collision led to Wiseton AFC getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Dino Holland hit a great ball. Saskatoon FC's Eldon Lemieux took a good shot, in the 65th minute, which hit the crossbar above Tommy Laframboise's head, and flew over the goal. Wiseton AFC's manager was very thankful on the sidelines as his team had managed to keep the ball out of the net after some serious pressure by Saskatoon FC. When Spencer Gleason came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Saskatoon FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Spencer Gleason couldn't finish the play. When Denis McMahon fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Wiseton AFC's protests and gave Denis McMahon a yellow card for diving instead. In the 73rd match minute, Wiseton AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Denis McMahon to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Wiseton AFC's Shirley Simms got a free kick in the 76th minute. Tommy Laframboise made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Spencer Gleason sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 80 minutes, Denis McMahon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wiseton AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Denis McMahon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Saskatoon FC's zone, Yong Leon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pierre Bland came out of the goal and Yong Leon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Clemente Stockton fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Wiseton AFC's protests and gave Clemente Stockton a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Wiseton AFC getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Clemente Stockton hit a great ball. After 86 played minutes, Saskatoon FC's Eldon Lemieux shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tommy Laframboise came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Saskatoon FC reached it. Denis McMahon blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pierre Bland having to make a save. Denis McMahon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Pierre Bland tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pierre Bland showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Denis McMahon, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Saskatoon FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
