Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Kent Greenwood started the match with the kick off. Jimmy Thomas scored 0-1 in the 4th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Achille McGhee, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 7th minute, Jimmy Thomas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Achille McGhee was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Jimmy Thomas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Achille McGhee having to interfere. Neoskweskau's Achille McGhee played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jimmy Thomas in the 20th minute of play. Achille McGhee stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jimmy Thomas's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Neoskweskau's Kent Greenwood slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Roberto Murphy. That made the score 1-2 after 25 minutes of play. Roberto Murphy made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Ahmed Peachey sent off a good shot on target. Roberto Murphy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kent Greenwood in the 32nd minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Ahmed Peachey left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Neoskweskau fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. 44 minutes into the match, Dominick Shelton notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Neoskweskau's Achille McGhee. Achille McGhee was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Neoskweskau players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Kirriemuir were winning 2-3.
The wind increased when Jimmy Thomas made the kick off in the second half. Jimmy Thomas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Achille McGhee having to interfere. In the 55th minute, Ahmed Peachey got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Dominick Shelton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jimmy Thomas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Achille McGhee took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jimmy Thomas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 65 minutes, Shawn Gregory mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kirriemuir and the Neoskweskau players grew even worse after the yellow card. 68 minutes into the match, Dominick Shelton notched a goal, 2-4, to the right of Neoskweskau's Achille McGhee. Achille McGhee was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jimmy Thomas in the 72ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Achille McGhee, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Ahmed Peachey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kirriemuir's Roberto Murphy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kent Greenwood in the 91st minute of play. Kent Greenwood fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roberto Murphy having to interfere. Kirriemuir's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
