Spectators: 6728 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1728, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Garland Duff took the kick off in the first half of the match. After some careless play in the Waterford AFC defense, Denis McMahon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Blaise Wheeler. The Waterford AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Blaise Wheeler should have stopped the shot. Yong Leon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Waterford AFC getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Seth Gladu hit a great ball. Waterford AFC's Blaise Wheeler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yong Leon in the 9th minute of play. In the 11th minute Garland Duff shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Laframboise saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 11th minute, Clemente Stockton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 12th minute of the match, Garland Duff tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Tommy Laframboise saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Shirley Simms charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Shirley Simms the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 13 played minutes Wiseton AFC got a freekick which was hit by Shirley Simms. George Gomez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Laframboise having to interfere. If Denis McMahon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Blaise Wheeler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yong Leon in the 20th minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Waterford AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Yong Leon came free, but Blaise Wheeler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Blaise Wheeler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yong Leon in the 24th minute of play. Blaise Wheeler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yong Leon, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Tommy Laframboise made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from George Gomez in the 26th minute of play. Yong Leon succeeded in the game's 30th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-2. 35 minutes into the match, Wiseton AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Garland Duff came free, but Tommy Laframboise reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 36th minute, Yong Leon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Blaise Wheeler was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. When Wiseton AFC's Denis McMahon in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Waterford AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Denis McMahon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Blaise Wheeler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

Garland Duff scored 2-3 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tommy Laframboise, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Denis McMahon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wiseton AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Denis McMahon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Blaise Wheeler breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Yong Leon struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Blaise Wheeler didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wiseton AFC. The audience thought a goal was coming when Denis McMahon got free with Blaise Wheeler in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Garland Duff blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tommy Laframboise having to make a save. If Denis McMahon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Waterford AFC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Yong Leon 76 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-4. A collision led to Wiseton AFC getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Shirley Simms hit a great ball. Garland Duff sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Garland Duff in the 88th minute of play forced Wiseton AFC's goalkeeper Tommy Laframboise to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Yong Leon kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Blaise Wheeler. That made the score 2-5 in the 90 minute of play. Waterford AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 95th minute, when Yong Leon scored to the left of an out of position Blaise Wheeler, making the score, 2-6. The Waterford AFC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Wiseton AFC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
