Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Joan Edmonds took the kick off in the first half of the match. Bill McKenzie recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Joan Edmonds fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Blaise Wheeler having to interfere. After 6 played minutes Waterford AFC got a freekick which was hit by Vance Therriault. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bill McKenzie got free with Blaise Wheeler in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 12th minute, Bill McKenzie got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Garland Duff sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Garland Duff in the 34th minute of play forced Ochiltree's goalkeeper Filiberto Hay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th minute Joan Edmonds shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Blaise Wheeler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bill McKenzie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Blaise Wheeler having to interfere. The supporters of Ochiltree booed when Waterford AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Herb Begin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 40th minute of the match, Bill McKenzie got a very nice opportunity to score, but Blaise Wheeler was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Ochiltree's Filiberto Hay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Garland Duff in the 41st minute of play. With his leg Blaise Wheeler managed to avoid a goal in the 44thth minute, when Ochiltree's Bill McKenzie fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 45th minute, Ochiltree's Joan Edmonds ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Blaise Wheeler. Blaise Wheeler yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Garland Duff made a kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Ochiltree's Bill McKenzie nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Blaise Wheeler made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. In the 56th minute, Thurman Medley hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joan Edmonds sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Bill McKenzie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Blaise Wheeler having to interfere. Blaise Wheeler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joan Edmonds, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Blaise Wheeler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joan Edmonds in the 66th minute of play. Seth Gladu charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Seth Gladu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Seth Gladu hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. 69 minutes into the match, Ochiltree's Scott Morton broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The audience was convinced that Joan Edmonds's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Blaise Wheeler was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. When Ochiltree's Joan Edmonds in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Waterford AFC's goalie prevented a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Bill McKenzie managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ochiltree's supporters rose to their feet, but Bill McKenzie was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Blaise Wheeler breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Waterford AFC's zone, Joan Edmonds stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Blaise Wheeler came out of the goal and Joan Edmonds tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 80 minutes in the game, Bill McKenzie dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. In the 85th minute, George Gomez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Garland Duff in the 87th minute of play forced Ochiltree's goalkeeper Filiberto Hay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bill McKenzie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Blaise Wheeler having to interfere. After 90 played minutes Waterford AFC got a freekick which was hit by Seth Gladu. Thurman Medley struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Blaise Wheeler didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ochiltree. The supporters of Ochiltree booed when Waterford AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roy Triplett didn't get a good kick on the ball. Waterford AFC's Blaise Wheeler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joan Edmonds in the 95th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Ochiltree fully deserved thier win.
