After a defensive mix-up in Neoskweskau's zone, Roland Means stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Achille McGhee came out of the goal and Roland Means tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Roland Means had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Salvatore Minton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 46 minutes into the game, Neoskweskau's Kent Greenwood nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Danny Horner made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Roland Means to make the kick off. Anibal Desjardins kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. When Christoper Wong fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. A collision led to Neoskweskau getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Christoper Wong hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Roland Means managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hartell's supporters rose to their feet, but Roland Means was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Achille McGhee breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Godelieve Hawthorne recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 77th match minute, Hartell was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Burton Cook to maneuver through the defense. Achille McGhee stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Roland Means's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. Achille McGhee showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Salvatore Minton in the 82nd minute of the match. Neoskweskau's Achille McGhee played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roland Means in the 83rd minute of play. If Kent Greenwood had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 91 minutes into the match, Neoskweskau's goal looked a bit too open when Salvatore Minton came free, but Achille McGhee reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Neoskweskau's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
