Spectators: 6729 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1729, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Waldo Simms kicked off to start the match. Renews's Chi Coffman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Milton Marks in the 3rd minute of play. After 4 played minutes Renews got a freekick which was hit by Shane Duff. Milton Marks sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 13th minute of the match Jere Zavala sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Chi Coffman skillfully saved the ball. Milton Marks received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Chi Coffman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Danial McKay's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Erin Brady read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, Irricana AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Waldo Simms came free, but Erin Brady reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Danial McKay recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Renews's Chi Coffman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Milton Marks in the 39th minute of play. Waldo Simms sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Milton Marks was the one to do the kick off. In the 59th minute, Milton Marks left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Irricana AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Milton Marks fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chi Coffman having to interfere. 67 minutes into the game, Waldo Simms recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Erin Brady. Waldo Simms showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. In the 73rd minute, Danial McKay made a precise shot to the right of Erin Brady. Irricana AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Erin Brady showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Waldo Simms, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Danial McKay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erin Brady having to interfere. Myles Cronin took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Chi Coffman. Chi Coffman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. A collision led to Renews getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Waldo Simms hit a great ball. Chi Coffman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Myles Cronin in the 90th minute of play. Man Cook's late challenge caught a Irricana AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Man Cook helped the player get up and apologised. Man Cook hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Renews's goalkeeper Chi Coffman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Waldo Simms fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erin Brady having to interfere. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
