Spectators: 5001 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 1) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Brenton Bilodeau made the kick off which started today's match. With a little luck, Dover's Minh Bledsoe got control of the ball when Octavio Holbrook tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 9th minute Blair Goodwin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elliott Bryan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Blair Goodwin took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Elliott Bryan. Elliott Bryan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Benjamin Collins struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Elliott Bryan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dover. Blair Goodwin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elliott Bryan having to interfere. In the 21st minute, Juan Busby hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Brenton Bilodeau in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Minh Bledsoe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Octavio Holbrook had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 35th minute, Octavio Holbrook left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Whitla hc fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Benjamin Collins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elliott Bryan having to interfere. Danilo Corbeil hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Blair Goodwin was the one to do the kick off. In the 57thth minute of the game Blair Goodwin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Whitla hc's Elliott Bryan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 70th minute, Brenton Bilodeau left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Whitla hc fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. After 74 minutes of play, Whitla hc's Brenton Bilodeau made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Minh Bledsoe was left in no man's land by his defense there! Octavio Holbrook sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Blair Goodwin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Dover's zone, Octavio Holbrook stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Minh Bledsoe came out of the goal and Octavio Holbrook tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dover's Art Sams got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Whitla hc's Juan Busby got a free kick in the 90th minute. If Benjamin Collins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Blair Goodwin came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Dover fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Blair Goodwin couldn't finish the play. Whitla hc were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Dover for a fine match.
