The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bo Daniels stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Blair Goodwin's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. Bo Daniels showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Blair Goodwin in the 8th minute of the match. In the 9th match minute, Dover was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Danilo Corbeil to maneuver through the defense. Blair Goodwin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Bo Daniels tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 15th minute Darron Marcil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Minh Bledsoe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 16 minutes into the game, Nazaire Bean was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vanguard FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dover the free kick. Nazaire Bean kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. After 19 minutes of play, Dover's Benjamin Collins made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bo Daniels was left in no man's land by his defense there! Minh Bledsoe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Darron Marcil, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. When Darron Marcil came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Vanguard FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Darron Marcil couldn't finish the play. Darron Marcil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 38 minutes, Darron Marcil managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vanguard FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Darron Marcil was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dover's Blair Goodwin got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nazaire Bean kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Blair Goodwin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bo Daniels having to interfere. Vanguard FC's Bo Daniels played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Blair Goodwin in the 47th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Alfred Burrell made the kick off in the second half. If Alfred Burrell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bo Daniels made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Blair Goodwin in the 57th minute of play. Blair Goodwin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bo Daniels having to interfere. After having played for 65 minutes, Rocky Étoile managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vanguard FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rocky Étoile was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bo Daniels made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Blair Goodwin in the 74th minute of play. Alfred Burrell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Minh Bledsoe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benjamin Collins struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Bo Daniels didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dover. The Vanguard FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Dover's performance. The match ended with a win for Dover.
