In the 43rd match minute, Qikiqtarjuaq FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tracey Lloyd to maneuver through the defense. If Charles Irizarry had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fredric Migneron received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Numbers Summers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Bondiss AFC's zone, Jaime Trujillo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Numbers Summers came out of the goal and Jaime Trujillo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 60th match minute, Bondiss AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Germain Watson to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Antoine Tardif in the 61st minute really tested Numbers Summers's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Carmine Tripp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Truman Hoskins in the 64th minute of play. Numbers Summers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaime Trujillo in the 69th minute of play. When Jaime Trujillo came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Qikiqtarjuaq FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jaime Trujillo couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Charles Irizarry in the 87th minute of play forced Qikiqtarjuaq FC's goalkeeper Carmine Tripp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Odell Corey's late challenge caught a Qikiqtarjuaq FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Odell Corey helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Bondiss AFC's Odell Corey got a free kick in the 90th minute. Truman Hoskins took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carmine Tripp. Carmine Tripp dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. The Bondiss AFC players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
