The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Rocky Étoile kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Bo Daniels showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Milton Marks in the 3rd minute of the match. 12 minutes into the match, Vanguard FC's Darron Marcil sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Erin Brady narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Irricana AFC's Erin Brady played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Darron Marcil in the 14th minute of play. Alfred Burrell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erin Brady having to interfere. If Cortez Sanschagrin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Milton Marks sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Irricana AFC's Erin Brady played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Darron Marcil in the 32nd minute of play. If Darron Marcil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bo Daniels showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Milton Marks in the 39th minute of the match. Erin Brady was a little too slow when Alfred Burrell got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 44th minute. The score was now 1-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

In the 53rd minute, Alfred Burrell made a precise shot to the right of Erin Brady. Irricana AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. In the 59th minute, Alfred Burrell ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Erin Brady was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Darron Marcil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erin Brady having to interfere. Myles Cronin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bo Daniels read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Myles Cronin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Irricana AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Myles Cronin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bo Daniels breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Myles Cronin struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Bo Daniels didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Irricana AFC. In the 79th minute Alfred Burrell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erin Brady saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bo Daniels came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Irricana AFC's Milton Marks. But to his dismay, Milton Marks quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Irricana AFC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
