Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Rory Corey kicked off to start the match. 5 minutes into the match, Chamberlain's goal looked a bit too open when Rory Corey came free, but Joesph Rowland reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joesph Rowland made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rory Corey in the 7th minute of play. Ashmont FC's Rory Corey got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ashmont FC's Leandro Patel shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 10th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Joesph Rowland but with some difficulty. Guillaume Lucas's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 17thth minute, Joesph Rowland skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Boniface Avila sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Boniface Avila fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rey Cheek having to interfere. Carmelo Timmons sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 30 minutes into the game, Allen Krause cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Rey Cheek was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Carmelo Timmons sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rey Cheek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carmelo Timmons, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Chamberlain's Carmelo Timmons got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Carmelo Timmons to strike the kick off in the second half. Florian Edwards hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Ashmont FC's zone, Boniface Avila stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rey Cheek came out of the goal and Boniface Avila tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Ashmont FC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Guillaume Lucas hit a great ball. Carmelo Timmons sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carmelo Timmons received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Rey Cheek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Allen Krause's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 64thth minute, Rey Cheek skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Ashmont FC's Rey Cheek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carmelo Timmons in the 66th minute of play. In the 66th minute, Elwood Leblanc hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 67 minutes into the match, Ashmont FC's goal looked a bit too open when Carmelo Timmons came free, but Rey Cheek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carmelo Timmons received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Rey Cheek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 70 minutes, Allen Krause managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chamberlain's supporters crossed their fingers, but Allen Krause was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carmelo Timmons in the 72nd minute of play forced Ashmont FC's goalkeeper Rey Cheek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Ashmont FC's zone, Carmelo Timmons stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rey Cheek came out of the goal and Carmelo Timmons tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 80th minute, Rory Corey made a precise shot to the right of Joesph Rowland. Chamberlain's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Allen Krause kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. In the 85th minute of the match Lucius Bonenfant sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Joesph Rowland skillfully saved the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carmelo Timmons in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rey Cheek prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 87 minutes into the game, Branden Lyle recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rey Cheek. Branden Lyle showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Carmelo Timmons managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chamberlain's supporters rose to their feet, but Carmelo Timmons was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rey Cheek breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Ashmont FC getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Elwood Leblanc hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carmelo Timmons in the 96th minute of play forced Ashmont FC's goalkeeper Rey Cheek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chamberlain's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
