Spectators: 6720 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1720, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Trent Bourgeau made the kick off which started today's match. Mack Andrews showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Trent Bourgeau in the 7th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Atlee's Eugene Ladner got a free kick in the 7th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Atlee's zone, Trent Bourgeau stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mack Andrews came out of the goal and Trent Bourgeau tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eugene Ladner kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Alvin Carlton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Randy Dionne's late challenge caught a Atlee's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Randy Dionne helped the player get up and apologised. 22 minutes into the game, one of Sombra AFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. An unexpectedly hard shot by Quinton Vinson in the 30th minute of play forced Sombra AFC's goalkeeper Matt Reeder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Matt Reeder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eustaquio McDaniel in the 33rd minute of play. Matt Reeder showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eustaquio McDaniel, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. When Sombra AFC's Trent Bourgeau in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Atlee's goalie prevented a goal. After the first half Atlee were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Quinton Vinson made a kick off. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Atlee's goalkeeper Mack Andrews, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Atlee's Eugene Ladner got a free kick in the 60th minute. 61 minutes into the match, Atlee's goal looked a bit too open when Alvin Carlton came free, but Mack Andrews reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Quinton Vinson in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Matt Reeder prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 67 minutes into the match, Eustaquio McDaniel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Matt Reeder. Sombra AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eustaquio McDaniel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. When Hugues Lott fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sombra AFC's protests and gave Hugues Lott a yellow card for diving instead. In the 73rd minute, Hugues Lott hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Derrick Dick, 74 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After 76 minutes of play, Sombra AFC's Alvin Carlton made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mack Andrews was left in no man's land by his defense there! 79 minutes into the game, Joseph Lovett was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sombra AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Atlee the free kick. In the 79th match minute, Sombra AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joseph Lovett to maneuver through the defense. Quinton Vinson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eustaquio McDaniel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Matt Reeder read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. Eustaquio McDaniel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Matt Reeder having to make a save. Mack Andrews took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Trent Bourgeau, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 91 minutes of play Sombra AFC's Joseph Lovett was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Joseph Lovett hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. 95 minutes into the game, Quinton Vinson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Matt Reeder. Quinton Vinson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Atlee had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
