With a little luck, Chimo's Francis Riquier got control of the ball when Barney Byers tried to sneak it across the goal line. Trinidad Michaud took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Francis Riquier. Francis Riquier dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 11th minute Jarrod Kendall shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Avery Marquez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Barney Byers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Francis Riquier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Trinidad Michaud sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 17th minute Trinidad Michaud shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francis Riquier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Chimo's goalkeeper Francis Riquier, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 24thth minute of the game Baudouin Short who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Placentia's Avery Marquez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Baudouin Short received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Avery Marquez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Shirley Lopez during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Avery Marquez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jarrod Kendall, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 37 minutes into the match, Baudouin Short had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Avery Marquez. Placentia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Baudouin Short was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Chimo's Francis Riquier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Trinidad Michaud in the 42nd minute of play. Baudouin Short sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 46th minute, Baudouin Short ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Avery Marquez was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Baudouin Short stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Avery Marquez was a little too slow when Baudouin Short got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 56th minute. The score was now 1-3. Robt Desruisseaux received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Avery Marquez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Avery Marquez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Baudouin Short's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. In the 62nd match minute, Chimo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raoul Croft to maneuver through the defense. If Jarrod Kendall had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jarrod Kendalls short, quick shot in the 67thth minute got Avery Marquez to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Barney Byers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 70 minutes, Robt Desruisseaux mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chimo and the Placentia players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 70th match minute, Chimo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robt Desruisseaux to maneuver through the defense. 80 minutes in the game, Baudouin Short fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Avery Marquez having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baudouin Short in the 81st minute of play forced Placentia's goalkeeper Avery Marquez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Trinidad Michaud had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jarrod Kendall charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jarrod Kendall the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When the match was over Chimo could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Placentia throughout the match.
