Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Deschambault's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Étienne Joseph in the 7th minute. Deschambault's Étienne Joseph was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Mack Andrews in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 8th minute Quinton Vinson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arron Lavoie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arron Lavoie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eustaquio McDaniel, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Eugene Ladner charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eugene Ladner the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Atlee getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Eugene Ladner hit a great ball. Mack Andrews made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Franklin Parizeau in the 16th minute of play. If Franklin Parizeau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 21st minute, Quinton Vinson made a precise shot to the right of Arron Lavoie. Deschambault's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Atlee's Mack Andrews proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Atlee from getting a goal against them. Mack Andrews showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Franklin Parizeau, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Lenard Glenn kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Arron Lavoie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eustaquio McDaniel in the 36th minute of play. In the 38th minute Quinton Vinson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arron Lavoie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ricardo Bland could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Mack Andrews made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Deschambault's Mervin Sauvé got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Lenard Glenn hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Quinton Vinson in the 48th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arron Lavoie prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Quinton Vinson made a kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Deschambault's goalkeeper Arron Lavoie had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Quinton Vinson. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eustaquio McDaniel got free with Arron Lavoie in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eustaquio McDaniel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Arron Lavoie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eustaquio McDaniel got free with Arron Lavoie in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 63 minutes into the match, Quinton Vinson dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Arron Lavoie, 0-2. The supporters of Deschambault booed when Atlee was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Melvin Crandall didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 68th minute of the match Étienne Joseph sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mack Andrews skillfully saved the ball. If Franklin Parizeau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eustaquio McDaniel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Arron Lavoie made a huge save. 76 minutes into the match, Atlee's Quinton Vinson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arron Lavoie narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 77th minute, Lenard Glenn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Quinton Vinson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Arron Lavoie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Franklin Parizeau in the 80th minute of play forced Atlee's goalkeeper Mack Andrews to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Quinton Vinson in the 82nd minute of play forced Deschambault's goalkeeper Arron Lavoie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Deschambault getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Lenard Glenn hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Quinton Vinson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atlee's supporters rose to their feet, but Quinton Vinson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arron Lavoie breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eustaquio McDaniel scored 0-3 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arron Lavoie, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Atlee supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Atlee would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
