Baudouin Short fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maxime Mejia having to interfere. If Wally Bellamy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marius Conroy kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. In the 33rd play minute Alexis Barrière came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Francis Riquier. 1-0. 38 minutes into the game, Chimo's Baudouin Short nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Maxime Mejia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After 42 minutes, Raoul Croft mouthed his way into the referee's book. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Baudouin Short's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maxime Mejia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. In the 63rd minute, Wally Bellamy got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Olin Simpson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Piccadilly FC's zone, Baudouin Short stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maxime Mejia came out of the goal and Baudouin Short tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A hard shot 70 in the game by Raoul Croft from a close distance when the talented Maxime Mejia managed to make a qualified save. Piccadilly FC's players were relieved. After some careless play in the Chimo defense, Wally Bellamy kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Francis Riquier. The Chimo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Francis Riquier should have stopped the shot. If Baudouin Short had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute.
