Bennett AFC's Loic Barker got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Albert Connelly's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 34thth minute, Homer Tardif skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Régis Livingston managed to get in a good position for a shot. Shawbridge's supporters rose to their feet, but Régis Livingston was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Homer Tardif breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Albert Connelly might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Homer Tardif. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Albert Connelly ran back to his position shaking his head. Emerson Vazquez hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alton Huerta was the one to do the kick off. If Albert Connelly had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 57th match minute, Bennett AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emerson Vazquez to maneuver through the defense. Homer Tardif showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Régis Livingston in the 65th minute of the match. Murray Baron kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. In the 71st minute, Bennett AFC's Alton Huerta dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Albert Connelly scored 2-1 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Homer Tardif, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dominique Mayer during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Shawbridge getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Dominique Mayer hit a great ball. Loic Barker who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 81stth minute tested the skills of Tony Sylvester when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 83rd minute Alton Huerta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tony Sylvester saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Homer Tardif made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Régis Livingston in the 85th minute of play. When Albert Connelly came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Shawbridge fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Albert Connelly couldn't finish the play. Régis Livingston sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 95th match minute, Bennett AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Britt Spangler to maneuver through the defense. In the 97th minute, Régis Livingston left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Shawbridge fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1.
