Piccadilly FC's Alexis Barrière got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Wally Bellamy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Avery Marquez having to interfere. Alexis Barrière sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Barney Byers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Maxime Mejia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 15 minutes into the game, Shirley Lopez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Placentia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Piccadilly FC the free kick. In the 15th minute, Shirley Lopez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 19 minutes into the match, Shirley Lopez dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Maxime Mejia, 1-0. Shirley Lopez kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. The supporters of Placentia booed when Piccadilly FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benedict Copeland didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Shirley Lopez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Placentia's supporters rose to their feet, but Shirley Lopez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maxime Mejia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wally Bellamy in the 39th minute of play forced Placentia's goalkeeper Avery Marquez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 41st minute Alexis Barrière shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Avery Marquez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Trinidad Michaud was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Piccadilly FC's Marius Conroy got a free kick in the 55th minute. Alexis Barrière's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Avery Marquez firmly grabbed it by the left post. Trinidad Michaud might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Maxime Mejia. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Trinidad Michaud ran back to his position shaking his head. Placentia's Avery Marquez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wally Bellamy in the 62nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wally Bellamy in the 69th minute of play forced Placentia's goalkeeper Avery Marquez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Trinidad Michaud during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Placentia getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Trinidad Michaud hit a great ball. Wally Bellamy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Piccadilly FC booed when Placentia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bill Garceau didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maxime Mejia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Shirley Lopez in the 85th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Placentia's Rodrigue Edmonds got a free kick in the 86th minute. Maxime Mejia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Barney Byers in the 93rd minute of the match. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Piccadilly FC's goalkeeper Maxime Mejia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Piccadilly FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
