If Baudouin Short had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 26thth minute of the game Franklin Parizeau who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chimo's Francis Riquier was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Robt Desruisseaux struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Arron Lavoie didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chimo. Baudouin Short sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Baudouin Short in the 34thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Arron Lavoie, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Jarrod Kendall received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Arron Lavoie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Chimo's zone, Franklin Parizeau stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Francis Riquier came out of the goal and Franklin Parizeau tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arron Lavoie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baudouin Short in the 42nd minute of play. If Baudouin Short had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Francis Riquier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Franklin Parizeau, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Baudouin Short received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Arron Lavoie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 74th minute, Franklin Parizeau got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Sheldon Sharp fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Deschambault's protests and gave Sheldon Sharp a yellow card for diving instead. Sheldon Sharp kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Sheldon Sharp hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Jarrod Kendall managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chimo's supporters rose to their feet, but Jarrod Kendall was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arron Lavoie breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Arron Lavoie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jarrod Kendall, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Baudouin Short recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 91 minutes, Baudouin Short managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chimo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Baudouin Short was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Baudouin Short came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Chimo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baudouin Short couldn't finish the play. Chimo were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
