After a rather tough play, Thamesville's Barry Laux got a free kick in the 5th minute. Eustaquio McDaniel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Mack Andrews didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Thamesville. When Atlee's Eustaquio McDaniel in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Thamesville's goalie prevented a goal. When Abel Randle was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 33 minutes had been played. Abel Randle kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. In the 37th play minute Claud Godin came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Mack Andrews. 2-0. Thamesville's Bryant Anderson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eustaquio McDaniel in the 42nd minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.
