Spectators: 6761 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1761, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Hank Sauriol kicked off to start the match. Charley Rancourt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ariel Park, who was totally free with the ball in the 2nd minute. After having played for 7 minutes, Hank Sauriol managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cedoux's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hank Sauriol was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hank Sauriol in the 9th minute of play forced Auteuil's goalkeeper Edmond Pelletier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Charley Rancourt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ariel Park, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ariel Park in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Charley Rancourt saved Cedoux from getting behind. Charley Rancourt made an important save on a dangerous shot by Roger Whitley in the 15th minute. Edmond Pelletier stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Norris Bellamy's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. 23 minutes into the match, Auteuil's Ariel Park sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Charley Rancourt narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 25th minute, Auteuil's Ariel Park dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 31stth minute of the game Hank Sauriol who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Auteuil's Edmond Pelletier was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Cedoux's zone, Roger Whitley stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Charley Rancourt came out of the goal and Roger Whitley tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Auteuil booed when Cedoux was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Josef Borden didn't get a good kick on the ball. Charley Rancourt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ariel Park in the 39th minute of play. 47 minutes into the match, Cedoux's Hank Sauriol sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edmond Pelletier narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Norris Bellamy came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Cedoux fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Norris Bellamy couldn't finish the play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ariel Park stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Norris Bellamy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edmond Pelletier having to interfere. Hank Sauriol might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edmond Pelletier. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hank Sauriol ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 68th match minute, Auteuil was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Newton Henley to maneuver through the defense. After 69 played minutes, Cedoux's Josef Borden shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Edmond Pelletier came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cedoux reached it. Ariel Park sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 78th minute Hank Sauriol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmond Pelletier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Boniface Devine hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. If Roger Whitley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 93 minutes, Ariel Park managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Auteuil's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ariel Park was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
