If Hank Sauriol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 16 minutes into the game, Norris Bellamy cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Wiley Courtois was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cedoux's Norris Bellamy got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Otto Eubanks in the 30th minute of play forced Cedoux's goalkeeper Charley Rancourt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Léandre Maloney received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Charley Rancourt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cedoux's Charley Rancourt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Otto Eubanks in the 36th minute of play. Hank Sauriol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wiley Courtois having to interfere. Cortez Deniger hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Josef Borden lost his temper 44 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 44 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Cedoux! Firmin Palacios shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Otto Eubanks to make the kick off. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cedoux's goalkeeper Charley Rancourt, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cortez Deniger kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. When Otto Eubanks came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Aberdeen FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Otto Eubanks couldn't finish the play.
