Spectators: 6729 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1729, VIP seats: 0) Byron Dumas started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Cedrick Malone came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Engineer FC's Brock Parmentier. But to his dismay, Brock Parmentier quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The supporters of Sandilands booed when Engineer FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Modestine Lajeunesse didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jess Allred charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jess Allred the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 12th minute, Jess Allred hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gayle McCoy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Stan Lara fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sandilands's protests and gave Stan Lara a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Engineer FC booed when Sandilands was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stan Lara didn't get a good kick on the ball. Byron Dumas might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Antione Laliberté. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Byron Dumas ran back to his position shaking his head. Brock Parmentier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cedrick Malone having to interfere. Hiram Maynard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Cedrick Malone tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jed Gant hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. When Byron Dumas came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Sandilands fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Byron Dumas couldn't finish the play. In the 37th minute, Brock Parmentier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hiram Maynard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Brock Parmentier blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cedrick Malone having to make a save.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Brock Parmentier made a kick off. In the 55th match minute, Sandilands was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santiago McDonough to maneuver through the defense. Cedrick Malone was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Fabrice Romero. Jess Allred hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. When Fabrice Romero fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Engineer FC's protests and gave Fabrice Romero a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Engineer FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 58th minute. Penalty! In the 62nd minute Byron Dumas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antione Laliberté saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Engineer FC's zone, Gayle McCoy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Antione Laliberté came out of the goal and Gayle McCoy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sandilands's Gayle McCoy got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Byron Dumas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Antione Laliberté tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sandilands's supporters crossed their fingers, but Byron Dumas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Hiram Maynard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Engineer FC's Antione Laliberté played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Byron Dumas in the 95th minute of play. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
