Coy Moon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cedrick Malone having to interfere. 14 minutes into the match, Crabtree FC's Coy Moon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cedrick Malone narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Byron Dumas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Lam having to interfere. After 24 minutes, Dustin Goddu made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Sandilands's Cedrick Malone tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Byron Dumas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gayle McCoy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 44 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Crabtree FC! Daniel Lam went to the wrong direction when Ellis Arredondo was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Gayle McCoy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Lam having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Tyson Mendez's late challenge caught a Sandilands's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tyson Mendez helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Crabtree FC's Tyson Mendez got a free kick in the 56th minute. In the 63rd match minute, Sandilands was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eldon Dunn to maneuver through the defense. Byron Dumas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Lam showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Byron Dumas, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. After having played for 70 minutes, Coy Moon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Crabtree FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Coy Moon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Coy Moon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gayle McCoy in the 79th minute of play forced Crabtree FC's goalkeeper Daniel Lam to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 81st minute Gayle McCoy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Lam saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 89th minute, Coy Moon fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Cedrick Malone, passed just outside the right post. When Stan Lara was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 91 minutes had been played. Dustin Goddu struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Cedrick Malone didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Crabtree FC. The Crabtree FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Crabtree FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
