Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5626, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 149) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Darryl Jenkins got the match started through his kick off. 9 minutes into the match, Maryfield AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Reynaldo Rojas came free, but Vincent Velazquez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vincent Velazquez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reynaldo Rojas in the 10th minute of the match. Vincent Velazquez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reynaldo Rojas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 14 minutes, Desmond Cox managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cumberland FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Desmond Cox was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Reynaldo Rojas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Desmond Cox received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Vincent Velazquez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Reynaldo Rojas took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vincent Velazquez. Vincent Velazquez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 30th match minute, Cumberland FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Son Hand to maneuver through the defense. If Reynaldo Rojas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Reynaldo Rojas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vincent Velazquez having to interfere. Maryfield AFC's Vincent Velazquez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benjamin Brodeur in the 42nd minute of play. 46 minutes into the game, one of Maryfield AFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The Maryfield AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Cumberland FC were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Reynaldo Rojas was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd match minute, Cumberland FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emmett Staples to maneuver through the defense. Arnoldo Santos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 56thth minute of the game Reynaldo Rojas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Maryfield AFC's Vincent Velazquez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Vincent Velazquez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Reynaldo Rojas's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. Louis Quirion hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Cumberland FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Rudolph Gagnon in the 63rd minute. Desmond Cox recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cumberland FC's goalkeeper Lionel Stoddard, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Cumberland FC's zone, Arnoldo Santos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lionel Stoddard came out of the goal and Arnoldo Santos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Reynaldo Rojas hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. If Reynaldo Rojas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Darryl Jenkins's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lionel Stoddard read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. Desmond Cox sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Maryfield AFC booed when Cumberland FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emmett Staples didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Darryl Jenkins came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Maryfield AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Darryl Jenkins couldn't finish the play. Darryl Jenkins received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Lionel Stoddard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
