Dana Orr made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elisha Acosta in the 48th minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Elisha Acosta to strike the kick off in the second half. Burr FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Burton Dietz in the 53rd minute. Douglas Gagné was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With his leg Dana Orr managed to avoid a goal in the 79thth minute, when Burr FC's Ernie Pryor fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A collision led to Greenspond FC getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Nathan Parizeau hit a great ball. Merlin Jamison received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Douglas Gagné tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 89th minute Elisha Acosta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dana Orr saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Merlin Jamison fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Douglas Gagné having to interfere. If Merlin Jamison had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Greenspond FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
