After a defensive mix-up in Goodlands's zone, Andres Gustafson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Émilien Sheppard came out of the goal and Andres Gustafson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 25th minute, Ramon Suggs hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Trevor Ballard hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Trent Krause in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Malcom Childs saved Aldouane from getting behind. Andres Gustafson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Émilien Sheppard having to interfere. Rosendo Laux kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. After 43 minutes, Tyson Brisebois mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Aldouane and the Goodlands players grew even worse after the yellow card. Tyson Brisebois hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Trent Krause to make the kick off. Andres Gustafson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Shelby Bruce managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aldouane's supporters rose to their feet, but Shelby Bruce was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Émilien Sheppard breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 57 played minutes Aldouane got a freekick which was hit by Emile Jean. If Loren Townsend had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 64 minutes into the match, Goodlands's goal looked a bit too open when Andres Gustafson came free, but Émilien Sheppard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aldouane's Malcom Childs played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Trent Krause in the 67th minute of play. If Loren Townsend had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Trent Krause sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 81st minute Andres Gustafson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Émilien Sheppard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Shelby Bruce blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Émilien Sheppard having to make a save. When Andres Gustafson came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Aldouane fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andres Gustafson couldn't finish the play. Émilien Sheppard stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Andres Gustafson's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. Malcom Childs made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Loren Townsend sent off a good shot on target. Loren Townsend who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 94thth minute tested the skills of Malcom Childs when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The Goodlands players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Aldouane from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
