Jonathon McFadden blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Geoffrey Maynard having to make a save. Chong Sewell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 25 minutes, Troy Daigle managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Narcisse FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Troy Daigle was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gary Richey in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Claude English saved Pakan from getting behind. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
