Spectators: 6725 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Trent Krause took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute Constant Ménard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Émilien Sheppard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rosendo Laux's late challenge caught a Greenspond FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rosendo Laux helped the player get up and apologised. Constant Ménard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Émilien Sheppard having to interfere. Dana Orr made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Trent Krause in the 11th minute of play. 12 minutes into the match, Greenspond FC's Constant Ménard sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Émilien Sheppard narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 15th match minute, Greenspond FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marin Green to maneuver through the defense. Goodlands's Ulysses Atwood got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dana Orr showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Trent Krause, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Merlin Jamison fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Émilien Sheppard having to interfere. In the 21st match minute, Goodlands was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geoffrey Christensen to maneuver through the defense. In the 22nd minute Constant Ménard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Émilien Sheppard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Loren Townsend had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeffry Quirion sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Loren Townsend came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Goodlands fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Loren Townsend couldn't finish the play. Trent Krause sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 42nd minute, Loren Townsend got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The wind increased when Constant Ménard made the kick off in the second half. Goodlands's Trent Krause got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Loren Townsend recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Greenspond FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 59th minute, when Trent Krause scored to the left of an out of position Dana Orr, making the score, 0-1. If Trent Krause had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Ulysses Atwood fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Goodlands's protests and gave Ulysses Atwood a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 68th minute of the game. One of Goodlands:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Greenspond FC:s goal. In the 71st minute there was a penalty for Greenspond FC. Simon Paquette stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Émilien Sheppard. 1-1. When Trent Krause came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Goodlands fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Trent Krause couldn't finish the play. Loren Townsend fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dana Orr having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Trent Krause's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dana Orr was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. Constant Ménard struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Émilien Sheppard didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Greenspond FC. When Trent Krause in the 88th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Dana Orr kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 1-2 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. Greenspond FC's Dana Orr played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Trent Krause in the 91st minute of play. After having played for 93 minutes, Trent Krause managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Goodlands's supporters crossed their fingers, but Trent Krause was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Greenspond FC's Dana Orr played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Trent Krause in the 95th minute of play. Goodlands's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
