Spectators: 6727 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1727, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Reynaldo Rojas got the match started through his kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Cumberland FC's zone, Chong Sewell stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lionel Stoddard came out of the goal and Chong Sewell tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 5thth minute of the game Reynaldo Rojas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Narcisse FC's Geoffrey Maynard was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Geoffrey Maynard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reynaldo Rojas, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Reynaldo Rojas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 16 minutes into the game, Reynaldo Rojas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Geoffrey Maynard was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Narcisse FC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Baudouin Hankins hit a great ball. In the 25th minute, Reynaldo Rojas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eugenio Dumont hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Rolando Allison's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lionel Stoddard read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. Chong Sewell succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 36th playminute. Geoffrey Maynard stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Reynaldo Rojas's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. Cumberland FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Rudolph Gagnon in the 48th minute. After taking down the ball on Cumberland FC's corner Augustin Cahill fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Geoffrey Maynard quite easily take care of the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gary Richey to strike the kick off in the second half. Gary Richey recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Chong Sewell in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lionel Stoddard prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the Narcisse FC defense, Reynaldo Rojas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Geoffrey Maynard. The Narcisse FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Geoffrey Maynard should have stopped the shot. Narcisse FC's Geoffrey Maynard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reynaldo Rojas in the 66th minute of play. Chong Sewell struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Lionel Stoddard didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Narcisse FC. Gary Richey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Lionel Stoddard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chong Sewell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chong Sewell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lionel Stoddard having to interfere. Reynaldo Rojas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geoffrey Maynard having to interfere. Reynaldo Rojas struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Geoffrey Maynard didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cumberland FC. Desmond Cox recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Narcisse FC's Troy Daigle got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lionel Stoddard took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chong Sewell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cumberland FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
