Pakan's Claude English played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Renard Shook in the 17th minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Brett Tatum hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 0-1 became the score in the 24th minute when Renard Shook elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Jonathon McFadden succeeded in the game's 35th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. Claude English took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Renard Shook, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathon McFadden's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Walton Deaton read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. One of Athalmer AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Pakan:s goal. Chase Doiron shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Rogelio MacDonald hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Rogelio MacDonald managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pakan's supporters rose to their feet, but Rogelio MacDonald was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Walton Deaton breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Foster Kimbrough got free with Claude English in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Foster Kimbrough had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Claude English made an important save on a dangerous shot by Foster Kimbrough in the 77th minute. The Pakan fans cheered their team off the field, for while Athalmer AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
