If Constant Ménard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot by Everette Cousteau from long distance, 7 minutes into the match, got Dana Orr's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. 15 minutes into the match, Taloyoak FC's goal looked a bit too open when Constant Ménard came free, but Faustino Dubois reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Faustino Dubois took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Constant Ménard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dana Orr showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wyatt Powell in the 24th minute of the match. Oscar Dowdy might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dana Orr. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Oscar Dowdy ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 35th minute, Greenspond FC's Tracy Garland seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Tracy Garland the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Greenspond FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Tracy Garland had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The goalkeeper, Dana Orr, was totally fooled by Taloyoak FC's Esmé Funk, who 37 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Shon Gant kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Dana Orr made an important save on a dangerous shot by Oscar Dowdy in the 42nd minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Wyatt Powell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dana Orr having to interfere. If Oscar Dowdy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Greenspond FC's zone, Wyatt Powell stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dana Orr came out of the goal and Wyatt Powell tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 65thth minute of the game Oscar Dowdy who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Greenspond FC's Dana Orr was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 66 played minutes Greenspond FC got a freekick which was hit by Achille Giroux. Dana Orr made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oscar Dowdy in the 71st minute of play. Wyatt Powell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Dana Orr tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Taloyoak FC's Wyatt Powell got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Oscar Dowdy managed to get in a good position for a shot. Taloyoak FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Oscar Dowdy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dana Orr breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 84th match minute, Greenspond FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeffry Quirion to maneuver through the defense. If Oscar Dowdy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 93 played minutes Taloyoak FC got a freekick which was hit by Leandro Abril. Merlin Jamison fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Faustino Dubois having to interfere.
