The Malcom Childs was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Malcom Childs stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Oscar Dowdy's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Shelby Bruce put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Faustino Dubois. After 23 played minutes Taloyoak FC got a freekick which was hit by Shon Gant. Taloyoak FC's Faustino Dubois proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Taloyoak FC from getting a goal against them. Shelby Bruce sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 34 minutes, Ivan Childers mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Taloyoak FC and the Aldouane players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Aldouane booed when Taloyoak FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivan Childers didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aldouane's Malcom Childs played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oscar Dowdy in the 41st minute of play. After having played for 42 minutes, Wyatt Powell managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Taloyoak FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wyatt Powell was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wyatt Powell stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 59 minutes into the match, Aldouane's Anibal McClain broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Malcom Childs took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wyatt Powell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Oscar Dowdy took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Malcom Childs. Malcom Childs dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Taloyoak FC's Faustino Dubois played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andres Gustafson in the 69th minute of play. Faustino Dubois made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Shelby Bruce in the 77th minute of play. Andres Gustafson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Faustino Dubois having to interfere. Shelby Bruce received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Faustino Dubois tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Andres Gustafson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Faustino Dubois having to interfere. Aldouane were furious when Devon Aubé was red carded, 88 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After some careless play in the Taloyoak FC defense, Shelby Bruce kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Faustino Dubois. The Taloyoak FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Faustino Dubois should have stopped the shot. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Aldouane had won after a very even match.
