Spectators: 6728 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1728, VIP seats: 0) When the match had gone on for 3 minutes, Gerardo Reeves took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Paul Cormier to make any attempt to save it. In the 7th minute Dallas Weldon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucien Hardin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Léonce Bates sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 11 minutes, Gregorio Bagley mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Craigend FC and the Veteran players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 11 played minutes Craigend FC got a freekick which was hit by Gregorio Bagley. Craigend FC's Paul Cormier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerardo Reeves in the 13th minute of play. Paul Cormier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerardo Reeves in the 16th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Craigend FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gerardo Reeves came free, but Paul Cormier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Reid Suarez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Lucien Hardin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Craigend FC booed when Veteran was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Murray Goldman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Reid Suarez in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lucien Hardin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. François Meza could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Paul Cormier made a huge save. Paul Cormier was out of position in the 29 minute of play, and Gerardo Reeves capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gerardo Reeves really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. 34 minutes into the match, Veteran's goal looked a bit too open when Reid Suarez came free, but Lucien Hardin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dallas Weldon hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Reid Suarez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The referee felt a red card was in order, 40 minutes into the game, when Ignacio Gomes put in a rough tackle. In the 39th minute, one of Veteran:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Veteran. In the 42nd minute there was a penalty for Craigend FC. Lucien Woodward stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Lucien Hardin. 2-1. Lucien Hardin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reid Suarez, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. If Dallas Weldon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

In the 53rdth minute of the game Dallas Weldon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Veteran's Lucien Hardin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Léonce Bates blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lucien Hardin having to make a save. Paul Cormier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thierry Shah in the 62nd minute of the match. In the 64th minute Dallas Weldon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucien Hardin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Craigend FC's zone, Thierry Shah stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paul Cormier came out of the goal and Thierry Shah tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 75th minute, Thierry Shah got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thierry Shah recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lucien Hardin made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Reid Suarez sent off a good shot on target. Reid Suarez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Veteran getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Hong Deblois hit a great ball. In the 96th minute, Thierry Shah got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thierry Shah struck a weak shot in the 98th minute. Paul Cormier didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Veteran. Veteran were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Craigend FC for a fine match.
