Spectators: 6720 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1720, VIP seats: 0) Peterbell's Raleigh Skinner started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 8th minute, Jordan Rice hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ronald Goff showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Burt Gervais in the 12th minute of the match. Dusty Cannon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ronald Goff came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Peterbell's Burt Gervais. But to his dismay, Burt Gervais quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Dillon Blanton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dusty Cannon in the 28th minute of play. Raleigh Skinner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Ronald Goff tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Peterbell's Dillon Blanton proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Peterbell from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Peterbell getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Cletus Regan hit a great ball. Dillon Blanton made an important save on a dangerous shot by Darrell Samuel in the 40th minute. After a rather tough play, Peterbell's Efrain Epperson got a free kick in the 41st minute. After 43 played minutes Nordegg got a freekick which was hit by Jordan Rice. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dusty Cannon was the one to do the kick off. Rupert McNally kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Nordegg's Royce Mansfield got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Burt Gervais had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 64 minutes into the match, Nordegg's goal looked a bit too open when Raleigh Skinner came free, but Ronald Goff reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adrien Sprague hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. A collision led to Nordegg getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Adolph Casey hit a great ball. With his leg Ronald Goff managed to avoid a goal in the 73rdth minute, when Peterbell's Burt Gervais fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ken Primeau's late challenge caught a Nordegg's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ken Primeau helped the player get up and apologised. After 77 played minutes Peterbell got a freekick which was hit by Ken Primeau. 78 minutes into the match, Nordegg's Adolph Casey broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Dillon Blanton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Darrell Samuel in the 81st minute of the match. Dusty Cannon might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dillon Blanton. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dusty Cannon ran back to his position shaking his head. Darrell Samuel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dillon Blanton having to interfere. If Darrell Samuel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 92nd match minute, Nordegg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sam Abraham to maneuver through the defense. With his leg Ronald Goff managed to avoid a goal in the 94thth minute, when Peterbell's Burt Gervais fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side.
