After 9 minutes of play, Amulet's Lynwood Friend made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ronald Goff was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dusty Cannon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Allan Coon charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Allan Coon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 16 minutes into the game, one of Nordegg:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. If Darrell Samuel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Darrell Samuel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Antony Rubio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 30th match minute, Nordegg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sam Abraham to maneuver through the defense. 30 minutes into the match, Amulet's Alphonso Cyr broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Ronald Goff made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tristan Yang in the 32nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Nordegg's Clark Dufour got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Lynwood Friend struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Ronald Goff didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Amulet. The Nordegg players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Amulet were winning 0-2.

57 minutes into the match, Dusty Cannon notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Amulet's Antony Rubio. Antony Rubio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 61 played minutes Nordegg got a freekick which was hit by Sam Abraham. 64 minutes into the match, Kraig Chesnay had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Antony Rubio. Amulet's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kraig Chesnay was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Simon Kenney charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Simon Kenney the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dusty Cannon in the 71st minute of play forced Amulet's goalkeeper Antony Rubio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Darrell Samuel in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Antony Rubio saved Amulet from getting behind. Dusty Cannon struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Antony Rubio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nordegg. Amulet's Antony Rubio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Darrell Samuel in the 89th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Darrell Samuel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nordegg's supporters rose to their feet, but Darrell Samuel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Antony Rubio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Darrell Samuel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Antony Rubio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
