In the 8th minute, Craigend FC's Dallas Weldon dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Jarvis Richards received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Paul Cormier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Edwardsville's Jarvis Richards in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The Edwardsville fans' excitement grew in the 34th match minute when Edwardsville's Jarvis Richards looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Arden Martinez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 39 played minutes Craigend FC got a freekick which was hit by Gregorio Bagley. Jarvis Richards received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. The tension between the Edwardsville and the Craigend FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 48 played minutes, Craigend FC's Lucien Woodward shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Noe Yost came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Craigend FC reached it. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jarvis Richards stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, Craigend FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cesaire Bautista to maneuver through the defense. Craigend FC's Paul Cormier proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Craigend FC from getting a goal against them. In the 60th minute, Hank Wolff hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 68 minutes, Reid Suarez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Craigend FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Reid Suarez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bradley Waldron kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. In the 77th match minute, Craigend FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gregorio Bagley to maneuver through the defense. Paul Cormier made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Arden Martinez sent off a good shot on target. In the 88th minute, Léonce Bates hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Craigend FC's Paul Cormier proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Craigend FC from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Craigend FC booed when Edwardsville was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roger Riquet didn't get a good kick on the ball. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
