Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Raleigh Skinner took the kick off in the first half of the match. Dillon Blanton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rene Denton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gerardo Gregory sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Burt Gervais came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Peterbell fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Burt Gervais couldn't finish the play. 15 minutes into the match, Peterbell's Burt Gervais sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Earle Marion narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Earle Marion made an important save on a dangerous shot by Burt Gervais in the 17th minute. In the 21st minute, Gerardo Gregory made a precise shot to the right of Dillon Blanton. Peterbell's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Peterbell's zone, Gerardo Gregory stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dillon Blanton came out of the goal and Gerardo Gregory tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 30 minutes into the match, Rene Denton had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dillon Blanton. Peterbell's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rene Denton was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Burt Gervais didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 1-2 via right post in the game's 35th minute. Peterbell's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! If Rene Denton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rene Denton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rene Denton to strike the kick off in the second half. Earle Marion made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raleigh Skinner in the 57th minute of play. Darren Tracy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 68 minutes into the match, Burt Gervais had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Earle Marion. Ituna AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Burt Gervais was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. After 74 played minutes Ituna AFC got a freekick which was hit by Germain Cooper. Rupert McNally kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. After having played for 79 minutes, Burt Gervais managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Peterbell's supporters crossed their fingers, but Burt Gervais was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dillon Blanton made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gerardo Gregory in the 85th minute. Gerardo Gregory could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Dillon Blanton made a huge save. Ituna AFC's Earle Marion played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Burt Gervais in the 88th minute of play. Peterbell's Raleigh Skinner got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
