Nordegg's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Leslieville the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 14th minute of the game. One of Nordegg:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Leslieville:s goal. Ronald Goff took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustave Jenkins, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 21st minute of the match Constant Salazar shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ronald Goff showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 26 minutes into the game, Darrell Samuel lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Léon Clément. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kraig Chesnay during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 33 played minutes Nordegg got a freekick which was hit by Kraig Chesnay. After a defensive mix-up in Nordegg's zone, Gustave Jenkins stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ronald Goff came out of the goal and Gustave Jenkins tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Adolph Casey hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gustave Jenkins to make the kick off. Kraig Chesnay blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Léon Clément having to make a save. After having played for 54 minutes, Darrell Samuel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nordegg's supporters crossed their fingers, but Darrell Samuel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Darrell Samuel in the 58th minute of play forced Leslieville's goalkeeper Léon Clément to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 63rd minute Gustave Jenkins shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronald Goff saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Nordegg's Kraig Chesnay got a free kick in the 67th minute. If Gustave Jenkins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 73 minutes into the match, Dusty Cannon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Léon Clément. Leslieville's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dusty Cannon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in Nordegg's zone, Firmin Faucher stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ronald Goff came out of the goal and Firmin Faucher tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Firmin Faucher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gustave Jenkins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronald Goff having to interfere. Gustave Jenkins received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Ronald Goff tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
