Spectators: 6722 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1722, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Dallas Weldon took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 4 minutes of play, Nordegg's Darrell Samuel made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Paul Cormier was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 7 minutes, Sam Abraham mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nordegg and the Craigend FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 7th minute, Sam Abraham hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Dusty Cannon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nordegg's supporters rose to their feet, but Dusty Cannon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paul Cormier breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 21st minute, Reid Suarez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Paul Cormier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Darrell Samuel in the 25th minute of play. Léonce Bates's late challenge caught a Nordegg's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Léonce Bates helped the player get up and apologised. Léonce Bates kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. When Dusty Cannon came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Nordegg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dusty Cannon couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Reid Suarez got free with Ronald Goff in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 40 played minutes, Craigend FC's Gautier Huppé shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ronald Goff came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Craigend FC reached it. In the 42nd minute, Darrell Samuel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 47th minute Craigend FC were awarded a corner. Lucien Woodward went to the cornerflag to take it. Lucien Woodward made a great header on Craigend FC's corner, it was just that Nordegg's Ronald Goff managed to reach the ball for a save. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dusty Cannon was the one to do the kick off. Darrell Samuel took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Paul Cormier. Paul Cormier dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Darrell Samuel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Craigend FC booed when Nordegg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adolph Casey didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dallas Weldon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nordegg's Dusty Cannon got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 78 minutes of play, Nordegg's Darrell Samuel made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Paul Cormier was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Nordegg's zone, Dallas Weldon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ronald Goff came out of the goal and Dallas Weldon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Reid Suarez might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ronald Goff. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Reid Suarez ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 84th minute, Dallas Weldon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ronald Goff was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. After some careless play in the Nordegg defense, Dallas Weldon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ronald Goff. The Nordegg fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ronald Goff should have stopped the shot. Gregorio Bagley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronald Goff having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Nordegg left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Craigend FC.
