Spectators: 6728 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1728, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Raleigh Skinner started the match with the kick off. Gerardo Reeves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Raleigh Skinner recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 12 played minutes Veteran got a freekick which was hit by Hong Deblois. Burt Gervais scored 0-1 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lucien Hardin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 20 played minutes Veteran got a freekick which was hit by François Meza. Veteran's Lucien Hardin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Burt Gervais in the 24th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Veteran's Hong Deblois got a free kick in the 25th minute. Lucien Hardin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raleigh Skinner in the 29th minute of play. After 30 played minutes Veteran got a freekick which was hit by Clifton Tardif. When the match clock showed 31 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Raleigh Skinner sped through Veteran's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Lucien Hardin. 36 minutes into the match, Cletus Regan notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Veteran's Lucien Hardin. Lucien Hardin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 41 played minutes Veteran got a freekick which was hit by Clifton Tardif. After having played for 42 minutes, Burt Gervais managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Peterbell's supporters crossed their fingers, but Burt Gervais was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thierry Shah sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 46th minute, Veteran's Gerardo Reeves dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gerardo Reeves to strike the kick off in the second half. Burt Gervais sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Burt Gervais's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 60thth minute, Lucien Hardin skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 64th minute, Burt Gervais got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Raleigh Skinner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucien Hardin having to interfere. Lucien Hardin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hai Katz in the 70th minute. Lucien Hardin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raleigh Skinner in the 72nd minute of play. Burt Gervais recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thierry Shah sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Efrain Epperson kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Dillon Blanton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerardo Reeves in the 86th minute of the match. Dillon Blanton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerardo Reeves in the 88th minute of play. When Gerardo Reeves came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Veteran fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gerardo Reeves couldn't finish the play. If Gerardo Reeves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Peterbell supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Peterbell would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
