Boyd Alvarado struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Sanford Toney didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Edgar FC. A hard shot 26 in the game by Kory Cuevas from a close distance when the talented Rod Cooley managed to make a qualified save. Edgar FC's players were relieved. Kory Cuevas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Rod Cooley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kennith Moore scored 1-0 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rod Cooley, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 33 minutes into the match, McMasterville FC's goal looked a bit too open when Arden Dupre came free, but Sanford Toney reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sterling Peachey charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sterling Peachey the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Sterling Peachey hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. After having played for 37 minutes, Boyd Alvarado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Edgar FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Boyd Alvarado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Boyd Alvarado in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sanford Toney prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 43 played minutes McMasterville FC got a freekick which was hit by Corentin Sumner. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arden Dupre in the 48th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sanford Toney saved McMasterville FC from getting behind.
