Spectators: 6740 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1740, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Lester Ryder made the kick off which started today's match. Sanford Toney showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lester Ryder, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Lester Ryder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sanford Toney having to interfere. 12 minutes into the match, McMasterville FC's goal looked a bit too open when Al Laws came free, but Sanford Toney reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lester Ryder sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Al Laws had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 26 minutes, Lester Ryder managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sandwith FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lester Ryder was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Theo Laird sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 32 minutes, Corentin Sumner mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the McMasterville FC and the Sandwith FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Corentin Sumner hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Sanford Toney didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Al Laws went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Sandwith FC's Al Laws got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lester Ryder recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sanford Toney didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Al Laws went, in the 48th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. After the first half Sandwith FC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kennith Moore to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Sterling Peachey was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. McMasterville FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sandwith FC the free kick. In the 53rd minute, Sterling Peachey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lester Ryder recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 56 minutes into the game, Iréné Forbes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sandwith FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave McMasterville FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Sandwith FC's Iréné Forbes got a free kick in the 56th minute. In the 61st minute of the match Clyde Bellemare sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jean Turgeon skillfully saved the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Kory Cuevas managed to get in a good position for a shot. McMasterville FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Kory Cuevas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jean Turgeon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Clyde Bellemare took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 75th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jean Turgeon. Sandwith FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Kennith Moore sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 79th play minute Al Laws came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Sanford Toney. 0-4. Al Laws who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 84thth minute tested the skills of Sanford Toney when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpected shot in the 86th minute by Al Laws got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lester Ryder in the 87th minute of play forced McMasterville FC's goalkeeper Sanford Toney to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Al Laws received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Sanford Toney tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 90th match minute, McMasterville FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Corentin Sumner to maneuver through the defense. In the 93rd minute, Al Laws got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sanford Toney showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lester Ryder, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Sandwith FC played a much better game than McMasterville FC and deserved their victory. The McMasterville FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
