The audience was convinced that Bret Beauchemin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sanford Toney was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kennith Moore stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sanford Toney came out and tried to block the shot, but Bret Beauchemin slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 56th minute. In the 63rd minute Kennith Moore shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vincenzo Keys saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vincenzo Keys took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kennith Moore, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, McMasterville FC's Sanford Toney got control of the ball when Bret Beauchemin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Edmonton Ice FC's Christopher Dixon got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Bret Beauchemin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. McMasterville FC's Sanford Toney played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bret Beauchemin in the 79th minute of play. Vincenzo Keys showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kennith Moore in the 81st minute of the match. The McMasterville FC players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
