Spectators: 6723 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Luther Jamison got the match started through his kick off. Gail Padilla kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Whelan's Léonce Sawyer tried to score from far away in the 5th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Whelan's Jody Faulkner got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Emory McNeal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jody Faulkner in the 9th minute of play. Luther Jamison fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerard Thomas having to interfere. In the 16th match minute, Whelan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baudouin Gifford to maneuver through the defense. Gerard Thomas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luther Jamison in the 21st minute of the match. Major Tabor could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Gerard Thomas made a huge save. Gerard Thomas made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Major Tabor sent off a good shot on target. 27 minutes into the match, Jody Faulkner had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Emory McNeal. Paisley's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jody Faulkner was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Luther Jamison sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emory McNeal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jody Faulkner in the 32nd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Whelan's zone, Major Tabor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gerard Thomas came out of the goal and Major Tabor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 43 minutes, Major Tabor managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paisley's supporters crossed their fingers, but Major Tabor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jody Faulkner to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Orval Montoya got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 58th minute, Trent Hand hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 59th minute, Major Tabor left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Paisley fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Emory McNeal was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Eldon Elias. In the 65th match minute, Whelan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Léonce Sawyer to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Major Tabor in the 68th minute of play forced Whelan's goalkeeper Gerard Thomas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 70th match minute, Paisley was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luther Jamison to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Luther Jamison managed to get in a good position for a shot. Paisley's supporters rose to their feet, but Luther Jamison was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gerard Thomas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Paisley's Lincoln Sullivan got a free kick in the 80th minute. Emory McNeal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jody Faulkner in the 82nd minute of play. In the 86th minute Major Tabor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerard Thomas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emory McNeal made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Orval Montoya sent off a good shot on target. In the 88th minute, Rolland Bourdette hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paisley's Emory McNeal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Paisley from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Whelan's Orval Montoya slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Emory McNeal. That made the score 1-2 after 95 minutes of play.
