Emory McNeal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bobbie Jernigan, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. If Roland Jean had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 29th minute Luther Jamison shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Austin Simon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Leclercville's Martin Ferrell got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Roland Jean sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 39 minutes, Major Tabor managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paisley's supporters crossed their fingers, but Major Tabor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luther Jamison recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Austin Simon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Major Tabor in the 47th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bobbie Jernigan to make the kick off. Bobbie Jernigan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emory McNeal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. Emory McNeal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Roland Jean's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. If Roland Jean had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paisley's Major Tabor got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 90 minutes into the match, Paisley's goal looked a bit too open when Roland Jean came free, but Emory McNeal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Roland Jean had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bobbie Jernigan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Emory McNeal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Paisley players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
