The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Carlton Wells made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kory Cuevas in the 5th minute of play. In the 7th minute, Kory Cuevas made a precise shot to the right of Carlton Wells. Mississauga Warriors's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. A collision led to Mississauga Warriors getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Donnell Vincent hit a great ball. In the 15th minute, Corentin Sumner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Donnell Vincent fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mississauga Warriors's protests and gave Donnell Vincent a yellow card for diving instead. Kennith Moore's late challenge caught a Mississauga Warriors's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kennith Moore helped the player get up and apologised. Carlton Wells showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kennith Moore in the 26th minute of the match. Corentin Sumner hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Moises Rosas was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 34th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Reynaud Huppé sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Floyd Langston received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Sanford Toney tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 41 played minutes Mississauga Warriors got a freekick which was hit by Delmar Dempsey. Salvatore Glenn struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Sanford Toney didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mississauga Warriors.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Reynaud Huppé made a kick off. If Reynaud Huppé had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 53rd minute, Reynaud Huppé ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sanford Toney was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Kennith Moore fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlton Wells having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in McMasterville FC's zone, Reynaud Huppé stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sanford Toney came out of the goal and Reynaud Huppé tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. McMasterville FC's Sanford Toney played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Salvatore Glenn in the 66th minute of play. If Salvatore Glenn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reynaud Huppé in the 75th minute of play forced McMasterville FC's goalkeeper Sanford Toney to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Salvatore Glenn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. McMasterville FC's Sanford Toney played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reynaud Huppé in the 82nd minute of play. In the 88th minute, Kory Cuevas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kory Cuevas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Delmar Dempsey during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of McMasterville FC booed when Mississauga Warriors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Delmar Dempsey didn't get a good kick on the ball. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
